WDS100T1X0M-00CMT0

High-Performance M.2 2280 NVMe Client/Workstation SSD featuring PCIe Gen5 throughput with the WDS100T1X0M-00CMT0

WDS100T1X0M-00CMT0 is a WD internal NVMe SSD designed for modern workstation and client platforms where PCIe Gen5 storage bandwidth directly impacts compile times, project load latency, and local scratch responsiveness. In M.2 2280 M-Key form factor, it integrates cleanly into desktop boards, mobile workstations, and dense SFF systems that need high sequential and 4K random performance without sacrificing serviceability.

Built on 3D TLC NAND with a 1GB DRAM cache, WDS100T1X0M-00CMT0 sustains consistent I/O behavior under mixed read/write pressure typical of developer toolchains, VM desktop images, and content creation caches. With up to 14,900 MB/s reads, 11,000 MB/s writes, and up to 1.6M/2.4M 4K IOPS, it complements CPU-heavy pipelines by reducing storage stalls and improving queue-depth efficiency. Low idle power supports always-on workstations, while active power characteristics remain suitable for performance-focused thermal envelopes.

Why Choose the WDS100T1X0M-00CMT0?

WDS100T1X0M-00CMT0 delivers a strong density-to-performance profile for OS and application boot, high-frequency project datasets, and localized scratch tiers, enabling predictable workstation responsiveness without adding a PCIe add-in card. Its endurance rating of 600 TBW (0.3 DWPD) and 1.75M hours MTBF align with enterprise procurement expectations for lifecycle planning and consistent fleet behavior across standardized builds.

WD engineering emphasizes controller/firmware tuning, NAND management, and validation discipline to meet modern data centre and enterprise workstation reliability requirements, including hardware AES-256 encryption and TCG Opal 2.02 support for policy-driven data protection where needed.

Key Applications:

Workstation OS and application drive
Local scratch/cache for content creation
EDA project datasets and simulation staging
High-IOPS developer workloads
VM desktop images and labs

At Happyware - Server Hardware you benefit from non-binding offers tailored to your rollout quantities for WDS100T1X0M-00CMT0, enabling fast standardization across workstation fleets while keeping procurement flexible and controlled.
