SSDSCKJB960G701 Intel DC S3520 Series 960GB SATA M.2 2280 Consumer SSD

High-Density M.2 2280 SATA Enterprise SSD featuring hardware encryption with the SSDSCKJB960G701

The SSDSCKJB960G701 is an Intel DC S3520 Series internal enterprise SSD designed for compact boot and service-tier storage in 1U/2U servers that expose an M.2 SATA (B-Key) slot. By using the SATA protocol in an M.2 2280 form factor, it preserves PCIe lanes for NICs, HBAs, or accelerators while still providing predictable low-latency access for OS images, hypervisor partitions, and management plane data.

Within CPU platforms where PCIe expansion is reserved for high-value I/O, the SSDSCKJB960G701 supports a balanced architecture: reliable MLC NAND for endurance behavior that suits read-intensive and mixed enterprise profiles, sequential throughput aligned with SATA limits, and consistent 4K performance for boot storms and service restarts. Integrated 256-bit AES encryption and power loss protection strengthen platform integrity when the SSD is used for encrypted volumes, trusted boot chains, or edge deployments with constrained physical security.

Why Choose the SSDSCKJB960G701?

The SSDSCKJB960G701 targets environments that need density without sacrificing operational assurance: a 960GB enterprise device in a minimal footprint that reduces cabling and drive bay consumption, enables clean internal boot designs, and scales consistently across standardized server builds. Its enterprise reliability profile and data protection features support repeatable rollouts in branch, edge, and core data centre tiers.

Intel engineers the DC S3520 family to prioritize controlled behavior under sustained enterprise duty cycles, emphasizing firmware stability, predictable latency characteristics, and compatibility with modern platform management standards. With a 2.0M hour MTBF rating, SSDSCKJB960G701 supports long-lived infrastructure planning and maintenance windows.
