G493-ZB2-AAP1 Gigabyte

High-Density 4U Dual-Socket GPU Server Barebone with PCIe Gen5 Switch Backplane using the G493-ZB2-AAP1 Gigabyte

The G493-ZB2-AAP1 Gigabyte is a 4U rack barebone engineered for multi-GPU acceleration with a dual-socket AMD EPYC SP5 platform supporting EPYC 9005/9004 (Turin/Genoa) processors and high CPU TDP headroom for compute-heavy nodes. A PCIe Gen5 switch backplane is designed to sustain consistent bandwidth to GPU and NIC endpoints, aligning the chassis with AI training, large-batch inference, and simulation pipelines that are sensitive to I/O contention.

Memory architecture is centered on DDR5 ECC RDIMM with 48 DIMM slots and 12 memory channels per CPU, enabling high capacity footprints and balanced NUMA scaling for distributed GPU workloads. For storage, the G493-ZB2-AAP1 Gigabyte combines 12 front 2.5-inch hot-swap bays supporting NVMe Gen5 and SATA, with SAS-4 available via an add-in HBA, plus dual M.2 NVMe slots for OS or staging. Expansion is optimized for accelerators: 8 FHFL PCIe Gen5 x16 slots are designated for GPUs, with additional FHFL and low-profile Gen5 x16 slots for fabric, DPU, or storage controllers.

Why Choose the G493-ZB2-AAP1 Gigabyte?

The G493-ZB2-AAP1 Gigabyte delivers a practical density-to-performance profile for enterprises consolidating accelerated compute into fewer racks while preserving serviceability through hot-swap power and front-access storage. Its Gen5 lane budgeting and switch fabric help scale multi-GPU configurations with predictable throughput, and integrated BMC management supports standardized remote operations across deployments.

Gigabyte applies a platform-first engineering approach focused on validated server thermals, redundant power design, and management integration that aligns with modern data centre requirements for remote provisioning, lifecycle control, and component-level replaceability.

Key Applications:

AI model training
Multi-GPU inference
HPC simulation
Visual computing
GPU-accelerated virtualization

At Happyware - Server Hardware you benefit from non-binding offers tailored precisely to your G493-ZB2-AAP1 Gigabyte project scope, and can extend the warranty up to 6 years to secure long-term operational planning for accelerated clusters.
