RX-96TMERCB9

High-Performance PCIe 5.0 Workstation Graphics Add-in Card with the RX-96TMERCB9

The RX-96TMERCB9 is a full-height, dual-slot discrete GPU designed for enterprise workstations that need consistent viewport responsiveness and GPU-accelerated application throughput without moving to higher-power accelerator classes. Built on AMD RDNA4, the platform targets modern graphics and compute APIs to align with CAD, content creation, and visualization pipelines where driver maturity and predictable latency matter.

Architecturally, RX-96TMERCB9 pairs 16GB GDDR6 on a 128-bit interface with AMD Infinity Cache to stabilize effective bandwidth for mixed geometry, texture, and compute workloads, supporting complex scenes while keeping memory behavior efficient. PCIe 5.0 x16 ensures ample host-to-device headroom for large asset streaming, multi-application workflows, and fast iteration cycles, while the add-in card form factor integrates cleanly into standard tower or rackmount workstations with appropriate clearance and airflow. A triple-fan axial cooling design and backplate focus on sustained clocks under continuous load, and 150W board power with a single 8-pin input simplifies power budgeting across fleet deployments.

Why Choose the RX-96TMERCB9?

The RX-96TMERCB9 delivers a strong density-to-performance profile for workstation nodes that must scale horizontally across engineering teams, lab environments, or visualization pods. Its PCIe 5.0 interface, enterprise-friendly power envelope, and multi-display capability enable consistent rollout across standardized chassis, reducing integration variance while supporting future platform refresh cycles.

XFX engineers this class of Radeon-based boards with a reliability-first approach, emphasizing stable thermals, robust mechanical design, and compatibility with contemporary workstation standards for sustained professional operation.

Key Applications:

CAD and 3D viewport acceleration
Content creation and rendering workflows
GPU-accelerated desktop compute
