SYS-242B-NR is a 2U 1-node platform engineered for 4-socket Intel Xeon 6 (Granite Rapids) deployments where CPU throughput, memory capacity, and PCIe Gen5 connectivity must scale together. With up to 4 x Xeon 6700 processors and a dense DDR5 ECC RDIMM topology, it targets consolidation of large enterprise workloads that benefit from high core counts and sustained memory bandwidth.
The memory subsystem provides 64 DDR5 channels across the chassis, enabling very large footprints for virtualization, HCI, and in-memory databases while retaining ECC protections. SYS-242B-NR exposes PCIe 5.0 expansion for accelerator and high-speed I/O integration, including FHHL slots and optional support for up to 2 double-width FHFL PCIe 5.0 x16 positions for compatible GPUs.
