Each node supports dual Intel Xeon 6 processors (Granite Rapids or Sierra Forest), enabling high core density and consistent throughput for mixed virtualised and containerised workloads.
Per node, the SYS-222BT-HNC8R provides a balanced memory and I/O architecture with 16 DDR5 RDIMM ECC slots up to 4TB at up to 6400 MT/s, optimised for memory-intensive consolidation and in-memory data services. PCIe Gen5 expansion is delivered via 2 x PCIe 5.0 x16 low-profile slots plus an AIOM/OCP 3.0 NIC slot, aligning the platform with high-bandwidth networking and modern east-west traffic patterns. For storage, each node integrates 6 front hot-swap 2.5" bays combining PCIe Gen5 and Gen4 NVMe/SAS lanes, complemented by dual M.2 22110 PCIe Gen5 x4 for boot; VROC can be applied when RAID on M.2 is required.
