For memory-bound workloads, the SYS-221HE-FTNR provides 32 DDR5 RDIMM ECC slots across 16 channels total (2DPC) for up to 8TB, improving consolidation ratios and reducing NUMA pressure in virtualized environments. PCIe Gen5 expansion is optimized for accelerators and high-bandwidth networking with 3x PCIe 5.0 x16 FHFL plus 2x PCIe 5.0 x8 slots, and dual OCP NIC 3.0 (PCIe 5.0 x16 each) for flexible NIC profiles up to 25/100/200/400GbE.
