Each 2-node chassis can be populated per node with dual-socket AMD EPYC 9006 “Venice” (SP7) processors up to 600W, enabling high thread throughput for simulation, seismic processing, and research pipelines that scale horizontally.
The platform’s 32 DDR5 DIMM slots (total) support ECC Registered RDIMM/3DS RDIMM up to 8TB (1DPC), aligning large in-memory datasets with NUMA-aware scheduling. PCIe 6.0 expansion and CXL 3.1 support for up to 2 x16 devices provide a forward path for memory expansion and accelerator-class connectivity, while optional FHHL x16 GPU-capable slots enable node-level acceleration where required. Storage is optimized for low-latency scratch and boot separation via front hot-swap E1.S NVMe bays plus dual M.2 PCIe 5.0 x4 NVMe devices; platform RAID is intentionally not supported to preserve deterministic I/O and simplify software-defined storage choices.
