KCMYXVUG12T8 Kioxia CM7-V 12.8TB PCIe 5.0 2.5" Server SSD

High-Performance U.2 NVMe Enterprise SSD featuring PCIe Gen5 dual-port architecture with the KCMYXVUG12T8

KCMYXVUG12T8 is a Kioxia CM7-V Series U.2 2.5-inch enterprise NVMe SSD designed to remove storage latency from OLTP and virtualized database tiers while maintaining deterministic behavior under mixed workloads. Its PCIe Gen5 NVMe interface, implemented with dual-port connectivity, supports high-availability storage paths and resilient multipathing in modern servers and all-flash arrays.

With 12.8TB of 112-layer 3D TLC NAND, KCMYXVUG12T8 balances capacity efficiency with enterprise endurance, delivering up to 14,000 MB/s sequential read and strong 4K random performance for write-heavy logging, metadata, and cache layers. The drive’s 3 DWPD rating over 5 years aligns with 24x7 cloud infrastructure duty cycles, while power-loss protection and end-to-end data protection are engineered to preserve in-flight data integrity across host, controller, and media. PCIe Gen5 bandwidth and U.2 serviceability also improve expansion planning, enabling dense NVMe tiers without sacrificing operational access.

Why Choose the KCMYXVUG12T8?

KCMYXVUG12T8 targets environments where performance per bay and path redundancy are strategic requirements, not optional features. The dual-port design supports highly available architectures, and the Gen5 throughput profile improves consolidation ratios for database nodes, virtualization clusters, and shared NVMe tiers. Enterprise reliability characteristics, including high MTBF/MTTF and OCP 2.0 alignment, simplify fleet-wide qualification and scaling.

Kioxia focuses on predictable enterprise flash behavior, combining controller firmware validation, power-fail safeguards, and security controls to meet current data centre operational standards. The platform integrates SED capabilities with 256-bit AES and Sanitize Instant Erase to support secure lifecycle management without disrupting service models.

Key Applications:

• High-IOPS OLTP databases
