SSDPEDMX012T701 Intel DC P3520 1.2TB Consumer SSD

High-Performance PCIe NVMe Add-in Card SSD for Read-Intensive Server Tiers with the SSDPEDMX012T701

The SSDPEDMX012T701 is an Intel DC P3520 Series enterprise NVMe SSD in a PCIe add-in card form factor, designed to deliver a fast read-centric storage tier for modern x86 server platforms. By attaching directly to PCIe 3.0 x4 lanes, it reduces protocol overhead versus legacy SAS/SATA paths and supports predictable low-latency access for application stacks that depend on high queue-depth reads.

Built on 3D NAND MLC with a DRAM-less architecture, SSDPEDMX012T701 prioritizes steady performance and operational simplicity for scale-out fleets, while staying within typical server power envelopes. The AIC approach preserves 2.5-inch bays for capacity drives and aligns well with PCIe expansion planning in dense nodes. With NVMe parallelism and up to 320k 4K read IOPS, SSDPEDMX012T701 is well suited for VM datastores, read caches, and acceleration layers where write endurance requirements are moderate and QoS is managed at the platform level.

Why Choose the SSDPEDMX012T701?

SSDPEDMX012T701 provides an efficient density-to-performance ratio for read-intensive tiers by converting available PCIe slots into high-throughput NVMe storage without additional cabling or backplane dependencies. Enterprise features such as power-loss protection, AES-256 encryption, and a 2.0M-hour MTBF support reliable deployment, while 0.67 DWPD endurance over 5 years fits structured caching and datastore roles. SSDPEDMX012T701 scales cleanly in multi-drive configurations where predictable read service time and straightforward replacement strategy are priorities.

Intel engineers the DC P3520 family with a focus on consistent enterprise behavior under sustained load, balancing controller design, firmware validation, and platform interoperability to align with current data center operational standards and security expectations.
