High-Density 1RU Top-of-Rack Switch Architecture with the 98012580 for 10/25GbE Leaf Access
The 98012580 is a Huawei CloudEngine fixed-port 1RU switch designed for mixed 10GbE SFP+ and 25GbE SFP28 server access, aligning low-latency forwarding with predictable oversubscription in leaf and aggregation tiers. With 1.12 Tbps switching capacity, iStack scaling, and an expansion slot for service growth, the 98012580 supports resilient rack designs using hot-pluggable redundant AC/DC power and field-replaceable fan modules to maintain airflow consistency under load.
Why Choose the 98012580?
The 98012580 delivers dense 10/25GbE connectivity with enterprise-grade resiliency, enabling scalable ToR deployments and consistent forwarding performance in constrained racks.
Huawei engineering emphasizes deterministic packet processing, modular serviceability, and standards-aligned operations to support reliable switching in modern edge and data centre environments.
Key Applications:
- Top-of-rack leaf switching
