G893-ZX1-AAX3 Gigabyte
High-Density 8U Multi-GPU AI and HPC Platform featuring OAM acceleration with the G893-ZX1-AAX3 Gigabyte
The G893-ZX1-AAX3 Gigabyte is an 8U single-node GPU server engineered for large-scale AI training, accelerated simulation, and high-throughput inference, combining dual-socket AMD EPYC SP5 compute with an OAM-based 8-GPU fabric. Its architecture targets balanced CPU-to-GPU throughput, enabling strong host-side preprocessing, high core density, and deterministic scheduling for containerised multi-tenant GPU environments.
With DDR5 ECC RDIMM memory across 24 DIMM slots and 12 channels per CPU, the G893-ZX1-AAX3 Gigabyte supports high-bandwidth memory feeding for data pipelines and GPU staging, while maintaining enterprise-grade error correction. PCIe Gen5 is used end-to-end for expansion and NVMe, including a hot-swap U.2 backplane with Gen5 x4 lanes per drive plus internal M.2 NVMe for boot and local services. For scale-out design, the G893-ZX1-AAX3 Gigabyte provides multiple PCIe 5.0 x16 slots for additional I/O, and integrates dual 10GbE alongside a dedicated BMC management interface for secure out-of-band operations.
Why Choose the G893-ZX1-AAX3 Gigabyte?
The G893-ZX1-AAX3 Gigabyte delivers a density-to-performance profile optimised for rack-level GPU clusters, pairing dual EPYC Turin/Genoa platforms with 8x AMD Instinct MI350X OAM GPUs to consolidate nodes without sacrificing serviceability. Air-cooled design, hot-swap redundant power, and standards-based IPMI management support predictable deployment in enterprise and research data centres with clear scaling paths.
Gigabyte engineers server platforms with an emphasis on validated thermals, robust power distribution, and long-lifecycle component selection, aligning the system to modern SP5, DDR5, PCIe Gen5, and remote management requirements for operational consistency.
Key Applications:
- Large-scale AI training and fine-tuning
- HPC simulation and accelerated compute clusters
- High-throughput multi-GPU AI inference
- Virtualised GPU infrastructure for containers
