G293-S46-AAM1 Gigabyte
High-Density 2U PCIe Gen5 GPU Server Barebone optimised for accelerated compute with the G293-S46-AAM1 Gigabyte
The G293-S46-AAM1 Gigabyte is a 2U rack GPU server barebone engineered for dual-socket Intel Xeon Scalable 4th/5th Gen (LGA4677) platforms where PCIe Gen5 bandwidth and deterministic GPU I/O are primary design targets. With the Intel C741 chipset and support for up to 350W CPUs, it delivers balanced host compute for AI training/inference, HPC simulation, and data-intensive enterprise workloads without constraining accelerators.
To sustain throughput under mixed CPU/GPU workloads, the G293-S46-AAM1 Gigabyte implements 16x DDR5 RDIMM ECC across 8 channels per CPU, enabling high aggregate memory bandwidth and capacity scaling up to 4TB. Expansion is focused on accelerator density with up to 4 double-width PCIe 5.0 GPUs in dedicated x16 FHFL slots, complemented by 2 additional PCIe 5.0 x16 low-profile slots for high-speed fabrics or storage controllers. Front-access storage provides 8x 2.5" hot-swap bays supporting NVMe (PCIe Gen5 x4) alongside SATA/SAS (via HBA), with RAID and Intel VROC key header options to align performance tiers with data locality.
Why Choose the G293-S46-AAM1 Gigabyte?
The G293-S46-AAM1 Gigabyte prioritises a practical density-to-performance ratio by combining 4-GPU PCIe Gen5 acceleration with dual-socket scalability in a serviceable 2U form factor. Redundant 80 PLUS Titanium power, out-of-band management, and front-serviceable storage simplify deployment in standard racks while maintaining predictable expansion paths for GPU refresh cycles and network fabric upgrades.
Gigabyte designs enterprise platforms around validated thermals, power integrity, and lifecycle consistency, aligning the system with modern data centre requirements such as remote management, component interoperability, and repeatable configuration for fleet operations.
Key Applications:
- AI training and inference
- HPC simulation and modelling
- GPU-accelerated analytics
- Virtualization and enterprise compute
- NVMe-backed data pipelines
At Happyware - Server Hardware you benefit from non-binding offers tailored to your configuration goals for the G293-S46-AAM1 Gigabyte and the option to extend warranty coverage up to 6 years to protect long-term data centre deployments.
