The 2563 is a 2U rack server chassis designed for storage-heavy server builds where drive density, serviceability, and predictable airflow take priority over integrated compute. By supporting SSI CEB motherboards, the 2563 aligns with common single-node server platforms and gives system engineers flexibility to select the CPU generation, memory capacity, and NIC/HBA topology that best fits the deployment.

Its core architecture centers on 12 front-access hot-swap bays for 3.5" or 2.5" SAS/SATA HDDs and SSDs, enabling direct-attached storage designs with straightforward cable paths to a SAS HBA or RAID controller. This storage-first layout keeps PCIe resources focused on HBAs, high-speed networking, or accelerator-class add-ins as required by the platform, while front USB supports on-site provisioning and recovery workflows. Cooling is based on 80 mm fan support to maintain stable drive and controller thermals under sustained I/O loads.
