LGA 2011 (Socket R) schede madri

La Intel sostituituisce con LGA 2011, che č anche chiamato di base socket R, il socket 1366 e il 1567 le prestazioni e di fascia alta piattaforme server.

La socket R base (parte della piattaforma Romley-E/Romley-EP) processori nello spazio server per la Sandy Bridge EP - serie progettata da Intel - e in futuro, l'Ivy Bridge EP. Nel segmento desktop per processori della Sandy Bridge E - serie.

La LGA 2011 supporta quad-channel DDR3 e up-to-1600 ECC server di RAM, che dipende dalla CPU.

In sistemi dual-socket, i processori comunicano attraverso QPI (Intel QuickPath Interconnect) e di raggiungere velocitą fino a 8 GT / s (Giga-Transfer al secondo).

Vantaggio della scheda madre LGA 2011, i processori che abbiano gią una interfaccia integrata per USB 3.0 e PCI Express 3.0 (fino a 40 corsie direttamente controllate) č disponibile.
